The EnVisio^® Navigation System locates the precise coordinates of the embedded SmartClip^®. The wireless SmartClip emits a differentiated electromagnetic signature that enables operative planning of the target specimen (target plus margin) that must be navigated at the time of surgical intervention. This precise location and navigation ability are clinically valuable for treating breast cancer and other diseases in soft tissues that lack anatomic landmarks, such as the lung, lymph, and colon.
